Love him or loath him this highly driven cyclist is never far from the headlines. He is one of the fastest and most determined sprinters on the pro scene and has numerous high profile victories in his Palmares. He recently secured another sprint win in the second stage of the 2007 Tour de France, but had to retire shortly afterwards through injury. He bounced back just 3 weeks later with another win in the Criterium of Graz Altstadt on 1st August.

The CTC website is the home of the Cyclists' Touring Club ( you have to look hard to find out what CTC stands for) - one of the oldest cycling organisations in the world - dating back to 1878. The website is however anything but dated as the CTC had thousands of members and huge resources to hand.
