Perhaps the best-known of the online agencies - carries properties of other agencies and the public can advertise their own properties. With house prices rising and agents not seeming to reduce the % they want to charge - self-marketing of properties is becoming more popular and sites like this make it easy. I don't think you can sign-up directly with RightMove, but they advertise on behalf of 10,500 agents, many of whom are low cost internet specialists. Claims to be the largest property website in the UK.

The UKs leading professional body for estate agency personnel. They have 10,000 members which I'm sure is not all of the UKs estate agents so perhaps membership is not widespread
