Home of the famous wine awards organisation thats gives out those gold, silver and bronze medals you see adorning some wine labels. See the results of the latest competition but also lots of other stuff - news, features etc - but the first taste page was empty when I went there - maybe there's no decent wine around at the moment

Run by Jamie Goode and for a long time agreat source of interesting and useful information. Wine is like music - not everyone likes the same stuff (fortunately) so it's good to get a range of opinions. Site links to Jamie's great Blog too.

Well established UK merchant stocking a fine range - nothing too expensive or too cheap for that matter - they cleverly keep you in that middle-range - order online or visit a local store where you can chat with the knowledgable staff - you'll need to buy a minimum of a case though. Usually loads of offers to tempt you.
