Another year has gone and Harrington was back at Royal Birkdale, with injuries, defending his first Open victory. It was a special tournament with veteran Greg Norman emerging from a self-imposed semi-retirement to fight Harrington all the way. And Brit Ian Poulter showed he really has the talent to take a major at some point soon. He came a close second this time around and we're sure he'll be back with more confidence soon to trouble the tournament leaders again. It's back on again with the usual mix of drama, drugs and breathtaking scenery. There are still the odd individuals cheating the sport but they seem to be easily causght now so the true result of the famous man against machine route around France is likely to show a true representation of who is best.
